Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is a non-profit healthcare system serving 10 counties in northeastern South Dakota and west-central Minnesota. Our team at Prairie Lakes makes a difference in the lives of patients and their loved ones POSITION SUMMARY Wage: $32.00- $48.28 This PRN(fill-on or as needed) position provides evaluation, consultation, development, implementation, and management of occupational therapy in acute care, swing beds, home health, outpatient and long-term care settings, and contractual agreement services.
RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates and provides occupational therapy services to include age, educational level, and culturally appropriate services to the patient/family. Screens, evaluates and develop an appropriate plan of care for patients. Administers day-to-day occupational therapy services to patients.
Completes discharge planning and care coordination with other healthcare system departments. Maintains timely and appropriate documentation that reflects the care provided and follows regulatory requirements. Establishes appropriate charges for services rendered.
