This notice explains information JibJob handles when you browse jobs, use account features, or choose advertising measurement. It was last updated July 19, 2026.
Information JibJob handles
- Pages viewed, searches submitted, job-apply clicks, and job-alert submissions.
- Device and connection details that can include browser type, user agent, IP address, page URL, and referrer.
- Advertising identifiers or click parameters, such as Meta and Google click identifiers, when present.
- Information you provide through account features, such as saved jobs, saved searches, applications, credentials, and job-alert email addresses.
Why this information is used
JibJob uses information to provide searches and account features, remember your choices, understand how the site is used, measure advertising, and record when a visitor leaves JibJob to apply with an employer. Employers run their own application sites and have their own privacy practices.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API
Meta advertising measurement is off unless you select Allow Meta. If allowed, the browser Pixel sends page visits and job-apply activity to Meta. On an apply click, JibJob can also send the same event through Meta's server-side Conversions API so Meta can match and deduplicate the browser and server events.
Those apply events can include the job title, job identifier, employer, whether the listing indicates visa sponsorship, page URL, IP address, browser user agent, and Meta browser or click identifiers. JibJob does not add an email address or phone number to these Meta conversion events.

Google measurement
JibJob uses Google Analytics to measure page views, searches, job-apply clicks, and job-alert submissions. Google Ads can also receive advertising conversion events and associated Google click identifiers. These Google tools currently operate separately from the Meta choice described above. Google processes this data under its own terms and retention practices. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Your Meta privacy choice
Declining Meta measurement does not limit job search or account features. JibJob stores your selection in this browser until you change it or clear browser storage. To withdraw or reconsider your choice, use the button below. Withdrawing reloads the page so the Meta script is not initialized on the next document.
Sharing and service providers
JibJob uses service providers to operate hosting, authentication, site analytics, advertising measurement, and job alerts. Meta and Google receive measurement data as described above. Selecting an employer's apply link takes you to that employer or its recruiting provider, which then handles information you submit there.
Privacy rights and requests
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, and the ability to object to or limit some processing. These rights are not universal and may have exceptions. JibJob may need to verify a requester before acting.
Submit a request below while signed in. JibJob uses the verified email on your account to identify the requester and follow up. Requests enter a protected staff queue; do not include sensitive medical, government-ID, password, or financial information.
Retention and changes
Retention varies by feature and provider. JibJob does not state a single retention period here because the current product does not establish one period for every category of information. This notice may change as JibJob's features and data practices change; the updated date above will identify the current version.
