Where jobs come from

Straight from the employer's own job listing

JibJob doesn't write job ads. We copy each listing from the career site where the employer or agency posted it, and we go back and check that listing every day. If it changes, ours changes. If the employer takes the job down, we take it down too. Jobs can still close between checks, so give the employer's page a final look before you apply.

What the labels mean

Reading the labels on a job

Verified active / Verified

We saw this job on the employer's own career site the last time we checked. The date tells you when that was. We don't call employers to confirm, so check their page for the latest before you apply.

Last seen

The most recent date we found the job still posted. It's a good sign the job is open. It's not a promise the employer hasn't filled it since.

Employer-listed pay

The pay number came straight from the employer's posting. Differentials, shift bonuses, and your final offer still get worked out when you apply.

Pay not listed

The employer didn't put pay in the posting. We'd rather tell you that than invent a number. The moment they add pay, it shows up here.

JibJob never sells your contact info. No account needed to browse or apply. Here is exactly where your information goes at each step, and what happens after you apply.

• Pay shown on a job came from the employer's own listing. If there's no pay, we say "not listed" instead of estimating.
• "Last seen" dates tell you when we last found the job posted. They don't promise it's still open.

What does "Verified" mean on a job?
