Physical Therapy Assistant Status: Per Diem - Non-Exempt Reports to: Director of Rehabilitation Services ____________________________________________________________________________ Purpose/Distinguishing Characteristics Under the supervision of a physical therapist, administers physical therapy treatments to patients/residents. Work may be performed in one or more areas of Beartooth Billings Clinic to include outpatient rehabilitation, inpatient rehabilitation, and the Joliet satellite clinic. __________________________________________________________________________________ Minimum Qualifications • Certification from an accredited physical therapy assistant program • Current Montana state license as a certified physical therapy assistant, or eligible • Healthcare Provider CPR certification or ability or obtain __________________________________________________________________________________ Working Conditions • Normal patient care environment in a CAH hospital, includes satellite clinic and home care services provided in patient homes. Participates in staffing rotations to provide Saturday coverage for inpatient or swing bed patients if appropriate. • May be required to work varying shifts, weekends and/or holidays or to float to areas of need • Blood Borne Pathogen Category: Category I: Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues. • Airborne Contaminant Category: Category I: Tasks that routinely require activities that may involve exposure to airborne contaminants. **This position does not offer H-1B Visa Sponsorship
