- Purpose and Scope of Position This position is responsible for providing leadership and management within the assigned clinical department.
- The Manager supervises nursing and non-nursing staff, depending on the staff mix, within an assigned department.
- The Manager is responsible and accountable for the coordination of the operational and clinical activities.
- Accountabilities include quality of services, short- and long-range planning to achieve goals and objectives, fiscal control, physician and interdepartmental/intradepartmental relations, and personnel management.
- The Manager develops protocols, policies, and procedures for the department, as needed.
- In the absence of the CNO, the Manager assumes responsibility and accountability for management of the assigned department independently.
- The Manager actively works to promote interdepartmental relationships, workflow processes, ingenuity, and creativity to support optimal patient care.
- Works collaboratively with the Acute Care Manager, Outpatient Services Manager and CNO to model and optimize team dynamics with the goal of high-quality patient care.

- Job Requirements Required Qualifications • Clinical experience, preferably in relevant area of service • Ability to acquire a Registered Nurse License or Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire. • Healthcare Provider CPR certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire • ACLS certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire • Or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered Preferred Qualifications • Demonstration of progressively more responsible duties and/or previous supervisory experience, preferred Managerial Experience • Managerial experience, required Schedule • Full Time > 30 hours/week __________________________________________________________________________________________ Full-Time
