Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is a non-profit healthcare system serving 10 counties in northeastern South Dakota and west-central Minnesota. POSITION SUMMARY Wage: $32.00-$49.46 This full-time (0.9 Status or 36hrs per week) position provides specialized nursing care for critically ill and telemetry/stepdown patients with acute and complex health conditions. Responsible for assessment, monitoring, and management of patients requiring intensive or intermediate levels of care. Excludes care for newborns and labor and delivery patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provides direct patient and personal care. Performs comprehensive and ongoing assessments of critically ill and telemetry patients. Administers prescribed medications, including IV drips, and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
