Kidney Dialysis- Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary Join our team and be a part of our mission to deliver accessible, high-quality, affordable, and compassionate healthcare. Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is an independent, non-profit healthcare system serving 10 counties in northeastern South Dakota and west-central Minnesota. Our team at Prairie Lakes makes a difference in the lives of patients and their loved ones.
POSITION SUMMARY Wage: $24.30-$36.94 Full-time(0.9 Status) and Part-time(0.5 Status) positions available. This position delivers hemodialysis and provides nursing care for chronic hemodialysis patients in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures, licensure, and scope of practice. RESPONSIBILITIES Utilizes the nursing process by providing care and documentation.
Administers medications within the scope of practice and provides dialysis treatment as ordered. Monitors patients' conditions and reports changes to the appropriate personnel. Explains dialysis procedures and operations of the hemodialysis machine to the patient when initiating treatment.
