Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is an independent, non-profit rural healthcare system serving 10 counties in northeastern South Dakota and west-central Minnesota.
Job Summary This full-time position provides overall leadership, management, and long-term planning for the Cath Lab. This position works in collaboration with the Senior Director of Service Lines in providing guidance and supervision of clinical positions in the department. This position leads the overall management, operations, and communications for the department and provides financial and budgetary management, recruitment, retention, and staff development.
Responsibilities include: Supervises day-to-day Cath Lab duties and patient scheduling, resolves physician, practitioner, patient, and staff issues, and ensures that professional, regulatory, and legal requirements are met. Ensures appropriate staffing levels and overtime utilization within budget, approves employee timecards, and maintains payroll information. Participates in the assessment of staffing needs, maintains master work schedule, adjusts staffing, and forecasts staffing needs.
