Department Details Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Part-time and full-time schedules available. Join Sanford Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, a large, high-volume specialty clinic where podiatry and nail care are vital to patient care and limb preservation. This role supports 4 podiatrists by providing routine and medically necessary foot and nail care for a high-risk patient population. The position is essential to maintaining clinic flow and improving access to care. This role is an important part of a foot care model focused on efficiency, safety, and outcomes. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with exposure to additional orthopedic specialties including foot & ankle, hand, and trauma. Summary Provides nail care services in the ambulatory setting under the direct supervision of licensed clinical professionals while maintaining all infection control and nail standards. Job Description Nail Technician has knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient care and cultural diversity, relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients from adolescence through geriatrics. Prepare patient treatment areas for use; prepare and clean medical equipment; dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy. Clean and maintain patient care area(s) or treatment rooms. Monitors stock levels of medical inventory and restocks or reorders as needed. Identify opportunities to improve patient care. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous retail and cosmetology experience is preferred.
