Summary

Responsible for managing and overseeing operations for outreach and enrollment. . Outreach and enrollment is defined as all functions that relate to alternate resource/3 rd party enrollments. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES Responsible for management and operation of outreach and enrollment..

Provide strategic direction, goal-setting and performance measurement of the department and staff. Prepares a plan for the achievement of these goals. Conducts a periodic review and evaluation of plan.

Implements changes when necessary. Supports the operational and financial performance of the revenue cycle services, ensuring stewardship of the organization’s resources, providing ongoing assessment/analysis of operating results, facilitating processes that result in the elimination of duplicate resources and suggesting appropriate actions necessary achieve the established objectives. Manages the process to ensure achievement of annual and periodic goals for significant statistical indicators of revenue cycle performance and for the organization’s overall financial performance in relation to those goals.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS Knowledge of principles of healthcare reimbursement, accreditation and grant management. Knowledge of related federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations. Knowledge of revenue cycle principles and practices.

Skill in effectively managing and leading staff, and delegating tasks and authority. Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands. Skill in working within deadlines to complete projects and assignments.

Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications. MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Public Administration. Progressively responsible professional work-related experience, education, or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.
