Summary
The Solutions Center Dispatcher for Security serves as the primary coordination point for all security operations within the medical center campus. This role monitors and operates multiple security systems, including video surveillance, access control, duress alarms, and mass notification systems, while receiving and responding to calls for security assistance through phone, radio, and other communication channels. The Dispatcher prioritizes and dispatches officers to incidents, accurately logs details, and coordinates emergency responses with internal departments and external agencies to minimize disruption and maintain safety.
The Dispatcher ensures timely, accurate communication and provides outstanding customer service to support a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Experience: 1 year security or emergency call center experience required. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification: Registration with the Texas Board of Private Security within 90 days of hire required.
