Position Summary

This role will focus on provider relations as it relates to analyzing and optimizing revenue related RVUs within DHR Health Clinics. Specifically, this role involves assessing and improving the accuracy of RVU-based compensation and reimbursement processes, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role will primarily be responsible for analyzing and presenting Relative Value Units (RVUs) to physicians and other providers.

This role involves gathering and interpreting data, preparing detailed reports, and delivering presentations that help physicians and other providers understand the value of their services and optimize their performance.

Position Education/ Qualifications

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Data analytics, or a related field.

Job Knowledge/Experience

  • • Prefer hospital or MD office experience Two (2) years of experience required Prior physician relations experience required Experience with RVU analysis and reporting is highly desirable Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL,Tableau) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data effectively. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Must able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines Thinks strategically to help develop action plan for business segment Ability to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and analyze to find conclusions Requires reasoning ability, good independent judgment, and the ability to work with frequent interruptions Must project a professional image

Position Responsibilities

  • • Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practice • Provide education and support to staff on RVU-related processes and systems. Address any issues or questions related to RVU assignments and revenue impacts. • Explain complex data and trends in an understandable manner, addressing any questions or concerns. • Prepare comprehensive reports on RVU performance, including monthly and quarterly summaries • Produce detailed reports on RVU-related metrics, including productivity, compensation, and reimbursement. • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to physicians and stakeholders. • Work closely with physicians, practice managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate RVU reporting. • Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines regarding RVU reporting. • Update and maintain RVU data to reflect changes in coding or billing practices. • Identify and implement best practices for RVU management and revenue cycle processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Develops computer programs to determine/assist with various cost projects and performs statistical analysis based on this data • Examines historical and projected financial data to provide senior management with valuable data upon which to make relevant financial decisions • Ability to use Vlookup and pivot tables required • Analyzes workload, determines work priority, assigns duties, oversees work progress, and participates in professional presentation to all levels of management • Analyzes and prepares various financial and statistical reports for internal use • Identify project requirements by interviewing customers, analyzing operations, determining project scope and documenting results • To assist in the physician experience to understanding wrvu’s and with any questions related to revenue cycle operations • Working closely with new providers and established providers • May need to have one on one to answer or update on wrvu situations •
  • Understands the importance of provider relations & satisfaction • Prepared to report on daily, weekly and monthly interactions with providers •
  • Provides feedback as to any issues, concerns or possible changes in revenue cycle processes • Direct liaison to providers for revenue cycle department • May be required to present to provider groups or to attend specialty meetings • Participate with other departments when required • Creating ad hoc reports, dashboards, etc. as needed • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information • Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues • Develop problem solutions by describing requirements in a work-flowchart and diagram; studying system capabilities; analyzing alternative solutions, preparing system specifications and writing programs • Provide reference for customers by writing documentation, providing support and help • Maintain systems by researching and resolving problems, maintaining system integrity and security • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed • Other duties as assigned
