A Brief Overview Responsible to assist the Patient Access Pre-Arrival leadership to plan, organize, educate and implement projects related to the Pre-Arrival core operations which includes patient scheduling, medical necessity, review of physician orders and diagnosis, pre-calling, insurance verification, authorization and financial counseling. The Coordinator has primary day-to-day responsibility of assuring workflow turnaround times are met, daily tracking of workflow, communication to the team, staff scheduling coordination, and special projects. The coordinator monitors productivity and quality and serves as a key liaison amongst the team.

What you will do Daily tracking of workflow functions and suggests/implements solutions that will reduce rework and increase efficiencies. Prioritizes workflow and staffing assignments. Maintains statistical information to ensure appropriate staff scheduling for optimum performance and quality of the Pre-Arrival Department.
