Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.

Min = $79.55 Mid = $99.44 Max = $119.32

Summary

The Pharmacist ensures the safe and effective use of medications through order verification; assessment of medication selection, dosing regimen, and administration; provide drug information and education; drug therapy monitoring services; and drug procurement at YRMC. Works closely with medical providers and nursing staff to ensure optimal care is provided. Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance department operations or service outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • The Pharmacist ensures the safe and effective use of medications through order verification; assessment of medication selection, dosing regimen, and administration; provide drug information and education; drug therapy monitoring services; and drug procurement at YRMC.
  • Works closely with medical providers and nursing staff to ensure optimal care is provided.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance department operations or service outcomes.
  • Evaluates medication drug therapies.
  • Answers questions about drug information.
  • Supervises technician activities and medication management processes.
  • Precepts pharmacy students and help precept and oversee pharmacy residents.
  • Other duties as assigned.
