A Brief Overview Responds and assists the Gastroenterologist and the Registered Nurse by providing assistance to professional staff of GI during the pre-procedure, procedure or post procedure period. This position will assist with procedure room set-up, scope cleaning and scope maintenance, as well as entering and maintaining inventory control. What you will do Prepares the room for procedures in a timely fashion.
This may include: organizing appropriate equipment and needed procedure tools; setting up quickly and accurately for cases; assuring proper and adequate equipment for all cases. Maintains efficiency in handling equipment at physician's request. Verifies specimens with Physician and Registered Nurse.
