Position Summary

The Director of Business Development, serves as a key member of the Northwest Texas Healthcare System Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for advancing the organization's growth strategy, market development initiatives, and long-term business objectives. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with executive leadership team, this role provides leadership and direction for strategic growth opportunities that drive enhanced market position, expand strategic service lines, improve regional access to care, strengthen physician and community partnerships, and support the organization's mission and financial sustainability. The Director is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing opportunities for business growth across the continuum of care, including service line expansion, ambulatory development, physician alignment, strategic affiliations, partnerships, and other initiatives that create enterprise value.

Through a deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics, competitive intelligence, consumer trends, and emerging industry opportunities, the Director develops actionable growth strategies that position Northwest Texas Healthcare System for continued success within the Texas Panhandle and surrounding service areas. As a trusted strategic advisor, this leader works collaboratively with executive, physician, and operational leaders to align growth initiatives with organizational priorities and operational capabilities. The Director provides data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that support executive decision-making, capital investment planning, market expansion efforts, and organizational transformation.

This position represents the organization in developing key external relationships and serves as a catalyst for innovation, partnership development, and sustainable growth. Success in this role requires a forward-thinking executive who possesses exceptional business acumen, strategic vision, and relationship-building capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to translate market opportunities into measurable organizational growth and competitive advantage. Provision of Services: Lead the development and execution of Northwest Texas Healthcare System's growth strategy to strengthen market position, expand access to care, and achieve long-term organizational objectives.
