Summary

The Clinical Dietitian (RD/RDN) will work with our team in the Cardiology Clinic. The Dietitian will provide evidence-based nutrition care to pediatric patients and families across inpatient and/or outpatient settings. The Clinical Dietitian develops, implements, and monitors individualized medical nutrition therapy plans to support patient growth, healing, and quality of life.

This role applies technical knowledge and skills depending on the severity and complexity of the case. The Clinical Dietitian collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to ensure optimal nutritional outcomes on routine matters, provides patient and caregiver education, and contributes to evidenced-based practice initiatives. Hours: Mon. - Fri. 8:00am - 5:00pm (One weekend rotation every 10 - 12 weeks) Opportunity to work from home 1 day a week after training period.

Education & Experience: Masters degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field. (Employees hired or credentialed as RD prior to January 1, 2024 are grandfathered under the previous bachelor’s degree requirement and remain eligible to continued employment in this role with active registration and state licensure in good standing). Pediatric dietitian experience preferred.
