Vice President Finance - Methodist Southlake

Hours of Work : Days Of Week : Work Shift : Job Description : We’re hiring a Vice President of Finance - a strategic leader ready to drive financial excellence in a dynamic hospital environment. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead the full spectrum of hospital financial operations from budgeting and forecasting to compliance, reporting, and strategic growth initiatives. You’ll partner closely with executive leadership, corporate finance, and operational teams to ensure financial integrity, optimize performance, and support expansion of critical healthcare services. What You’ll Lead: • Oversight of comprehensive budgeting processes (capital, labor, revenue, and expenses) • Financial analysis and reporting across all hospital departments • Strategic financial planning in partnership with executive and corporate teams • Regulatory compliance, internal audit coordination, and risk management • Revenue cycle collaboration, including Charge Description Master optimization • Financial leadership for satellite emergency department programs and partnerships • Development of reporting tools and insights to enhance operational decision-making • Financial education and guidance for hospital staff and leaders What You Bring: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 3-5 years experience in hospital finance/accounting environments • 1-3 years of supervisory experience, Director level or above • Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence across functions • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) -preferred • Strong analytical, reporting, and systems expertise This is more than a finance role, it’s an opportunity to shape the financial future of a healthcare organization while improving operational performance and patient services.
