Overview Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities. UT Health Pittsburg is growing and hiring BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join team. This position would be (2) week a month of hospitalist coverage in our UT Health Pittsburg hospital.
About this Position: This position is 7 days on and 7 days off. 7am - 7pm No procedures needed NO ICU Average daily census 10-15 average 2-3 admits /day Night cross coverage by remote APP ER runs Codes Opportunity to pick up extra shifts if desired at our regional facilities Teaching responsibilities will include Rural Family Medicine Residents. Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding-leading to better work-life balance and revenue.
