- Cleans, assembles, operates, and properly cares for instruments, supplies, and equipment used in team specialties.
- Demonstrates an understanding of surgical procedure classification system and handles operating room specimens according to standard operating procedures.
- Provides patient care, according to diagnosis/procedure, utilizing the procedure cards and following established hospital policies and procedures.
- Documents procedure changes on procedure cards following each case according to standard operating procedures.
