Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $19.50 - $25.50 Position Highlights To be successful in this role, candidates should have o Experience working on an interdisciplinary team and demonstrate adaptability within a fast paced, continually changing environment. o Proficiency in medical terminology is strongly essential. o The ability to collaborate effectively, respond quickly to emergent situations, perform well under pressure, and maintain a positive, solutions focused attitude is critical. o Experience in medical scheduling is beneficial, along with strong interpersonal skills and a consistent professional demeanor. Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM; 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Hybrid rotation You Belong at Avera Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients.
Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Accountable for performing diverse administrative duties and scheduling functions for the surgical department. What you will do Schedules surgical procedures as requested according to established guidelines maintaining the highest level of efficiency.
Facilitates in coordinating a plan of care for patients with various departments throughout the hospital and clinics. Performs receptionist duties dealing with the general public and medical personnel. Answers and addresses phone calls and messages, routing/involving other appropriate individuals as needed.
