  • The program has been shown to improve engagement and retention by providing a strong nursing foundation for quality nursing practice.
  • Residents will obtain continuing education credits upon completion of the program.
  • Program participation is a requirement at Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center in the following units: •Critical Care •Emergency Department •Adult Inpatient •Family Birthing and Mother/Baby Care •Operating Room Nursing students and newly licensed nurses graduating from an accredited college within 12 months are welcome to apply.
  • Qualified candidates must have a current RN license and an associate degree in nursing.
  • Residents will be hired as full-time nursing staff with benefits.
  • Hours will be variable and at various sites.
  • Prior to starting the program, residents and fellows will interview for full-time permanent positions with hiring managers.
