Responsibilities

  • RN's in this position will begin working in a progressive/acute care environment providing intermediate levels of care for patients and will be cross trained in the ICU .
  • This Neuro Specialty Unit will take a mix of higher acuity patients to include long term trachs and drips that need monitoring.
  • RNs will be given the option to float to the ICU once a month to take a tier I ICU assignment to keep skills sharp.
  • New graduates and experienced RN’s are encouraged to apply. 4D Neuro-specialty Hybrid Nurses are crossed trained to ICU.
  • We take neuro surgical patients, Kidney and pancreatic transplants, Live donors and higher acuity progressive care patients.
  • CHF, renal failure, GI bleeds, patients that are Trached, Respiratory failure, heart failure, pulmonary disease and other acute or chronic illnesses. 5C Progressive Care This is a general progressive care.

Qualifications

  • Education: *Minimum Associate Degree *Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred Education specialization: * Nursing Credentials: * Registered Nurse-NM *State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License Academic Preparation: BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire We're all about well-being, starting with yours.
