RN - Emergency - PRN Tier I - Days

Forrest City Medical Center is a118 bed Acute Care facility located 40 minutes west of Memphis, TN and less than 90 miles for Little Rock, AR. Position Details: PRN - Tier I - Days 1 shift per week required (12 hour shift) Premium Tier I PRN Differential added to base hourly rate Job Summary: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
