Schedule
PRN Shift: Shifts may vary between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., depending on patient volume and departmental needs. About the Role Join Logan Health’s Imaging team in Kalispell as an Imaging Aide . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, and values teamwork.
As an Imaging Aide, you will support imaging services by assisting patients through their care experience, ensuring safety, comfort, and efficiency throughout the imaging process. Key Responsibilities Transport patients to and from imaging modalities and assist with safe transfers on and off equipment Perform patient care tasks within scope while supporting technologists and clinical staff Explain exam procedures in a calm, reassuring manner to create a positive patient experience Obtain and verify patient information; escort patients to and from exam areas Assist technologists with patient preparation for imaging procedures Prepare and dispose of contrast injectors per department protocol Stock assigned areas and monitor supplies, including checking for outdates Complete arrival and end-of-day duties per department procedures Assist with administrative tasks including ordering, amending, and completing exams in the radiology information system Communicate with care teams regarding scheduling, add-ons, and patient flow Report equipment malfunctions and document safety concerns per protocol Follow all safety standards and infection control practices What We’re Looking For Required
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and discretion Ability to obtain RQI Responder CPR certification within 90 days of hire Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new systems Preferred
Qualifications
- Previous experience with direct patient interaction in a healthcare or customer-facing setting Familiarity with clinical or imaging environments Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality care

Schedule
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed. PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed.
PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
