Summary

Our Licensed Psychologist provide therapy and diagnostic testing to children, and behavioral consulting to their families. Our therapy methods include play therapy, trauma-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and collaborative problem solving. This role provides psychology and psychiatry services for families whose children and adolescents, ages 2 to 18 who are experiencing behavioral, neurodevelopmental, and emotional challenges such as depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorders (ADD/ADHD), and autism spectrum disorders.

Must possess knowledge and understanding of normal pediatric/adolescent growth and brain development and have experience with pediatric/adolescent mental health diagnoses and a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests. An understanding of the ecological, biological, genetic, and developmental factors that promote health across the lifespan is preferred. Required Education & Experience : PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an APA accredited institution.

Experience providing therapy to children with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions, and trauma-informed care preferred. Ability to use a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests. Prior experience or postdoc experience in a pediatric setting is preferred.
