Must be BC/BE and be eligible for a Louisiana license.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Medical student and Neurology resident education, including supervision in clinics, grand rounds, and didactic conferences.
• Participation in departmental activities and contributing to the growth of the Dementia program.
• Mentoring and providing clinical expertise to faculty and residents.
• Large patient volume potential and leadership potential.
• Louisiana has the 5th highest Alzheimer’s mortality rate in the US and North Louisiana has a particularly large burden of disease.
• Potential to be the expert in the field in this region.
• Resources & Facilities: Dedicated Infusion Center Multi-disciplinary Care Academic Medical department with the largest concentration of Subspecialty Neurologists in the Ark-La-Tex region.
