Come make a difference at Ochsner Health and discover your future today! Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport & LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport’s Department of Neurology seek a child neurologist. This position is for an experienced BC/BE Child Neurologist for the Department of Neurology .

This full-time faculty position will be at an academic rank of associate professor or professor as determined by level of experience and qualifications. We are looking for a person committed to both patient care and academic development. The successful candidate will join our Child Neurology Division with two other Pediatric Neurology faculty.

Responsibilities

• • Delivering high-quality clinical care to pediatric patients with neurological conditions in outpatient and inpatient pediatric neurology.
• Medical student and Neurology resident education, including supervision in clinics, grand rounds, and didactic conferences.
• Participation in departmental activities and contributing to the growth of the Child Neurology Division.
• Mentoring and providing clinical expertise to faculty and residents.
• Resources & Facilities: NAEC level 4-accredited Adult and Pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit with an Epilepsy Surgery program Certified Sleep Lab with fellowship program.
• Dedicated Women’s and Children’s Center for comprehensive hospital based pediatric care.
