Summary
Full-Time Days: No nights, weekends or holidays. To assist pharmacist in providing professional pharmacy services to the patients and staff of Cook Children's Medical Center and the community we serve. Operation and maintenance of the central pharmacy purchasing function and inventory control to meet customer needs and assure high-quality services and products in the most cost-effective manner.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have current knowledge of safety regulations in the department and in the implementation of new policies and procedures. Proficient knowledge of operating system software, desktop applications such as excel, power point, etc., and pharmacy information system applications as they relate to pharmacy process workflow. Good telephone skills and good oral communication skills are essential.
Must be able to communicate effectively, both oral and written. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and problem solve. A general knowledge of office procedures such as filing and record keeping is essential.
