FTE: 1.000000 | Full Time | Primarily Mon - Fri / 8AM - 5PM Starting Wage: $21.86-$30.07 per hour, depending on experience Position Summary The Patient Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling surgical or diagnostic procedures and may also schedule pre-anesthesia, oncology/infusion, or other appointments. Responsibilities may include a variety of clerical duties such as input of daily charges, patient forms, and statistics necessary for reporting. Excellent communication skills are required for this position as the Scheduling Coordinator plays an integral role in assisting the care team in meeting patient care needs and acts as a liaison between physicians' offices, ancillary departments, and the surgical or primary department staff.

Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of clerical experience in a fast-paced, medical or professional environment, providing knowledge of computer programs, and excellent communication skills is required A High School Diploma, GED, or the equivalent in experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as required for the position is required An Associate degree in business administration is preferred Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred Total Rewards We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth, including: Competitive Pay: Hourly and salaried positions earn market-based compensation.
