Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Food & Nutrition Services Shift: Second Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The Room Service Associate plays a vital role in the patient experience by ensuring accurate and timely meal service. This position requires a blend of excellent customer service skills and strict adherence to healthcare protocols. The associate will be responsible for taking patient meal orders over the phone, verifying that selections align with a patient's dietary restrictions, and accurately inputting orders into a system. The essential functions include meal ordering and order management, meal delivery and patient interaction, issue resolution and communication, cleanliness and sanitation, administrative task and support. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification: Must have current City of Fort Worth Food Handler’s Card at time of employment and maintain throughout employment. Hours: 2nd Shift 12:00pm to 8:30pm One day off weekly and every other weekend off.
