The Patient Access Advocate I completes registration for scheduled and unscheduled visits, updating demographics, verifying insurance, collecting point‑of‑service payments, and ensuring clean, accurate accounts in the ADT system. Confirms all information meets billing and compliance requirements and maintains basic knowledge of Medicare and other regulatory guidelines.   • Registers patients for scheduled and unscheduled visits, updating demographics verifying insurance , confirming

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Six months of healthcare experience or one year of customer service.
  • Must pass the two‑week Patient Access Academy with an 85% or higher.
  • CHAA/CHAM or similar certification preferred.
  • Basic understanding of insurance, medical terminology, billing codes, and registration processes is preferred.
