This position is 100% remote and can be located anywhere int he USA Position Summary This position will be responsible for driving growth in Specialty by 1) building innovative products that secure our position as the market leader in payor focused Specialty solutions and 2) creating disruptive and holistic solutions to address oncology, rare disease, and other high-cost therapies to ensure best in class management of cost and quality of care. As part of these responsibilities, colleague will be responsible for developing a robust product roadmap based on current and anticipated market trends, and working across the organization to deliver new and market leading solutions to market. Oncology, Rare Disease and High Cost Therapy Program Innovation Build and execute product roadmap that solves payor, provider and patient needs related to oncology, rare disease and other high cost therapies, including Develop cost management and population health programs such as formulary and coverage strategies, prior authorization programs, NCCN programs, care management programs, patient and provider engagement programs, value-based arrangements, and more to promote the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective programs which optimize health outcomes, improves the provider and member experience, and reduces costs for clients and members.
Leverages pharmacist expertise to inform clinical strategy, to define drug lists, clinical pathways, program rules, the member and provider journey, and oversee the performance of clinical workflows and overall performance and experience to identify optimization opportunities. Assists in the development of tools and processes that improve the effectiveness of clinical and quality monitoring. Leverage unique assets across the PBM, Payor Relations, Specialty pharmacy, Coram, Digital, and Aetna to deliver differentiating capabilities that establish CVS as a leader in oncology and high cost therapy management Collaborate across the organization – Product, Clinical, Operations, Finance, Legal, Sales, Marketing – and beyond, with external partners, to develop strategies that provide winning solutions to manage high cost medical drugs and treatments in market and in pipeline.
