Occupational Therapist, Inpatient at Kootenai Health

Occupational Therapist Position Summary Plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities, primarily working in the ICU. # Responsibilities ### #Teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities ### #Studies, evaluates, and records patients# activities and progress ### #Performs a variety of tasks ### #A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required ### #Typically reports to a manager ### #Performs other related duties as assigned ### #Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field ### #Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals ### #Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function ### #Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned # Requirements and Minimum Qualifications ### #Graduate of a nationally accredited school of occupational therapy required ### #Current Occupational Therapy License in the State of Idaho required # Working Conditions ### #Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs# ### #Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position# ### #Typical equipment used in a clinical job # # About Kootenai Health Kootenai Health is a highly esteemed healthcare organization serving patients throughout northern Idaho and the Inland Northwest.
