Position Summary: Plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates education for nursing personnel to include orientation, in-service training, staff development and continuing education.# Assists with staffing and provides direct patient care.# Participates in Nursing Quality Improvement activities.# Assists in the implementation and evaluation of patient and/or family teaching. Education: Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Texas.# Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required (or actively pursuing).# Master#s degree preferred. Certification as a BLS Instructor within 6 months of hire. Training and Experience: Minimum of 2#3 years of clinical experience, 1 year teaching experience preferred.
