• The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, they work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.
• APPs provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
• They may care for patients ranging in age as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.
• Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
• PRACTICE SPECIFICS: Sites of service will be Virginia, Duluth, and Superior, Wisconsin.
• This position is a fast paced, acute walk-in care setting.

Schedule

10 hour days, every third weekend Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation. Licensure/Certification

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• Current NP/PA licensure in Minnesota and Wisconsin
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota and Wisconsin
• Current certification in CPR. National certification, in applicable area. Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
