Marshall Health Network is seeking an organized, detail-oriented IT Inventory Control Specialist to join our Information Services team. This position plays a critical role in managing technology assets, inventory, and equipment across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting a fast-paced healthcare environment. Position Summary Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, the IT Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the receipt, tracking, storage, deployment, and lifecycle management of Information Services equipment and technology assets. This position oversees inventory control processes, warehouse operations, asset tracking systems, and the delivery of equipment to locations throughout Marshall Health Network. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and properly process all Information Services deliveries. Manage warehouse and storage areas to ensure accurate inventory control and organization. Apply asset tags and maintain electronic records for all technology assets. Track inventory levels and communicate supply shortages or discrepancies to leadership. Coordinate and collect hardware pickups and electronic waste from Marshall Health Network locations. Deliver equipment and supplies to various locations using a Marshall Health Network vehicle. Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions, deliveries, and asset movements. Conduct routine inventory audits and shelf reviews within warehouses, stockrooms, and storage areas. Prepare computers and other technology equipment for deployment through imaging and configuration processes. Maintain asset information within Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory, and other asset management systems. Support inventory management initiatives and process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Education High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance. Preferred Certifications CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ ServiceNow certifications or other relevant technology certifications Experience Experience in Information Technology, Information Services, technology support, inventory management, or asset tracking. Healthcare or hospital experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and networking equipment. Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and asset management systems. Experience with ServiceNow or similar inventory and asset tracking platforms preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with clinicians, staff, and leadership. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Physical Requirements This position requires frequent movement throughout facilities, warehouse areas, and storage locations. The ability to lift, load, move, push, and pull equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds is required. The role also requires operating inventory carts, handling technology equipment, and performing computer-based work.
