Position Summary: This position ensures compliance is maintained regarding provider information and documentation. Maintains and updates departmental databases/spreadsheets/ reports and provider contact information. Carries out assigned duties by Medical Staff Services Office (MSSO) leadership in a timely manner to ensure efficiency of the department. Participates in collecting, aggregate, analyzing, and reporting data to support the Medical Services quality improvement plan and Clinical Informatics/Education division and work collaboratively with the quality department, hospital, IT, the finance department and medical professional staff to improve clinical data systems.# Education: Bachelor#s degree in healthcare informatics or related field required. Training and Experience: 1-3 years# experience as a Data Specialist or similar role in a clinical setting. Quality improvement with data analysis experience preferred. Must be proficient in Windows-based word processing and spreadsheet software, with familiarity in basic office equipment.
