Position Summary: This position ensures compliance is maintained regarding provider information and documentation. Maintains and updates departmental databases/spreadsheets/ reports and provider contact information. Carries out assigned duties by Medical Staff Services Office (MSSO) leadership in a timely manner to ensure efficiency of the department. Participates in collecting, aggregate, analyzing, and reporting data to support the Medical Services quality improvement plan and Clinical Informatics/Education division and work collaboratively with the quality department, hospital, IT, the finance department and medical professional staff to improve clinical data systems.# Education: Bachelor#s degree in healthcare informatics or related field required. Training and Experience: 1-3 years# experience as a Data Specialist or similar role in a clinical setting. Quality improvement with data analysis experience preferred. Data management certification is a plus. Training and Experience: 1-3 years# experience as a Data Specialist or similar role in a clinical setting. Must be proficient in Windows-based word processing and spreadsheet software, with familiarity in basic office equipment. Possesses knowledge of medical terminology, records maintenance and retrieval systems, and regulatory requirements, including DNV standards for medical staff credentialing and privileging.
