Position Highlights

Job Summary
- Responsible for the performance of timely, accurate, quality clinical laboratory tests and basic clinical laboratory functions.
- Appropriate specimen collection, handling, processing and corresponding orders for diagnostic testing.
- Performance and appropriate documentation of diagnostic testing.
- Performance and interpretation of quality control/calibration and participation in all quality assessment/improvement activities.
- Perform maintenance, calibrations and function checks.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in this laboratory.
- Candidate for this position must have availability to work variable day shifts with on-call and rotating weekends.
EDUCATION
Associate's degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school as an MLT or CLT required.
