West Duluth Clinic Department: 2221800 FAMILY PRACTICE - WEST Job Description: Essentia Health is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to support our Family Practice team across multiple clinics within the Twin Ports area. This position is focused on in-basket management, patient communication, direct patient care tasks as assigned, clinical support for providers and care teams in the ambulatory setting. Education

Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state, i.e.
- Minnesota, Wisconsin, OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire.
- (Must pass certification within two attempts) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.
- ( Department 46680 – Registry Management Team: BCLS certification is not required) This role is an Inbasket Management Position.
- There will be travel expected for this position.
- There is a potential flexibility for a hybrid setting.
- The hours will be 08:00am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday no holiday no weekends FTE: 0.8 Possible Remote/Hybrid Option: Shift Rotation: Day Rotation (United States of America) Shift Start Time: 0800 Shift End Time: 1630 Weekends: Holidays: No Call Obligation: No Union: DC USWA Main & Neighborhoods (DCUMN) Union Posting Deadline: 06/23/2026 Compensation Range: $20.39 - $29.99 Employee
