Summary

The Medical Assistant will function in collaborative practice with physician(s) and/or advanced practice provider(s) at our Alliance Urgent Care Clinic. The MA assists in the preparation and delivery of ambulatory patient care as directed by provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Skillfully and consistently performs clinical duties per established departmental policies and procedures.

The care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment appropriate to the ambulatory care setting with an emphasis on good customer relations. Hours: 10:30am - 11pm 3 days a week with rotating weekends/holidays Education, Experience and Certification: High School diploma required. Either a graduate of an accredited MA school OR a current MA certification required. 1 year or more of MA experience preferred.

Pediatric, ER or Urgent Care experience preferred. Current BLS Certification required. National certification preferred.
