Summary
The Volunteer Services Manager is responsible for managing the integration of volunteers into the health care team by implementing processes for volunteer recruitment, screening, interviewing, training/orientation, placement, retention, discipline, evaluation, and termination, as well as the supervision of Volunteer Services staff. As a Family Support Services staff member, the Volunteer Services Manager will demonstrate a commitment to Cook Children's Health Care System Operating Values, as follows, integrating them into each job function. Live quality while improving efficiency.
Challenge the status quo by allowing innovation to be integrated into daily work. Think creatively, plan analytically and then act decisively. Communicate in an open, respectful, timely and effective manner.
Encourage personal fulfillment, optimism and joy in the workplace. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field required. Minimum 5 years' experience in non-profit volunteer administration required.
