Position Summary:# The LVN/GVN assists the physician and mid-level practitioners in providing quality care as delegated.#This individual is also cross trained to assist in clerical tasks, waived testing and phlebotomy/ venipuncture.# Qualifications:# A. Education:#Currently licensed as a Vocational Nurse by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas OR hold a current Texas permit.# B. Training and Experience:# Minimum of six months experience working as an LVN preferred; one year of experience in an ambulatory setting preferred. Bilingual abilities desirable but not mandatory.##### Current BLS Certification within 90 days of hire required.###### EKG and Cardiac Rhythms knowledge#### Mental Health First Aid-Suicide Awareness Training# C.#######Demonstrate appropriate leadership skills:# Professionalism# Communication# Role Presentation# Modeling Decision-making and problem resolution# # Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions:# A.
