The Outreach Courier provides courier support services to Outreach Laboratory department.
Position Education/ Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Valid Texas Drivers license Driver’s license under CLEAR status with the DMV required.
- Eligible to obtain Hazardous Transport Certification
Job Knowledge/Experience
High degree of competency and experience in within a hospital environment, preferred. Requires good communication and organizational skills. Requires reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
Previous outreach experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- POSITION RESPONSIBILITES: Performs courier services for the department as necessary.
- Delivers patient results, supplies, and requisitions Maintains and schedules vehicle for service.
- Friendly and courteous to physician offices.
- Routes deliveries appropriately.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Customer Service
Provide excellent customer service to all DHR customers. All employees are required to attend the DHR C.A.R.E.S program which outlines the Customer Service Principals including: Commitment, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Service.

- Working Conditions : The individual spends over 95% of his/her time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise.
