Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $21.75 - $33.00 Position Highlights Monday -Friday 8:00am-4:30pm; 80 hours 2 weeks Occasional 5:00am start times and 6:00pm end times Occasional weekends You Belong at Avera Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients. A Brief Overview Responsible for relaying accurate medical information and facilitating the successful delivery of patient services to diverse language segments in compliance with all office, clinic and hospital policies and procedures, particularly relating to patient confidentiality and informed consent. Responsible for written translations required in patient encounters including, but not limited to, forms, care instructions, medication schedules, patient letters, or other identified documents and patient materials. Work with special projects as assigned.
What you will do Serves as the facilitator to successfully deliver language patient services to linguistically diverse consumers and functions as a cultural and linguistic resource to both patients and providers to contribute to successful outcomes. Provides a high level of customer service with a positive approach and performs duties in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Familiarity and ability to work with diverse cultural/social-economic backgrounds as well as general knowledge of cultural backgrounds.
