Job Summary Under general supervision, performs clerical and general office work of moderate difficulty, registers and pre-registers patients, schedules ancillary procedures, assists patients and guarantors with insurance questions, and works hospital and office procedures pre-certification. Performs duties of obtaining authorizations, referrals, account payment questions, collections for services, prepares deposits, and scans orders while maintaining a high level of customer service. # Qualifications Education Preferred High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Experience: Required One or more years of Clerical or Office experience Preferred One or more years of Medical Billing/Insurance Authorization experience Knowledge of Medical Terminology One or more years of experience Handling Cash Certification/Licensure: N/A
