Summary

• Performs a variety of routine environmental services duties and maintains cleanliness in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all areas in accordance with departmental standards. Ensures proper infection control procedures are followed when handling linen, trash, medical waste, and performing cleaning tasks.
• Demonstrates understanding of the PI Program, Excellence in Action, required competencies, and the Mission & Vision of PRMC.
• Maintains and safely operates all housekeeping equipment. Reports relevant information promptly to the supervisor or appropriate authority. Completes required departmental record keeping and documentation.
• Maintains appropriate linen and supply levels throughout the department. Performs routine floor care and maintenance .
