Job Summary Filters Help Desk calls and provides basic support and troubleshooting such as password resets, printer configurations, and break/fix instructions. Provides support by gathering and analyzing information about the user#s issue and determines the best way to resolve their problem. Also provides support for identified Level II and Level III issues where configuration solutions have already been documented. # Performance: Position Specific Essential Functions Has the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain existing computers with no guidance or supervision. Answer the phone in a professional manner and provides first level support for Shannon computer systems, solving most first level issues before sending the call to Level II support. Provides outstanding after hours computer/ system support without missing calls from hospital operators. Able to solve most issues without the support from co-workers. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Required High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Experience: Preferred One year of experience as a PC Technician Certification/Licensure: Preferred A+ Certification
