Responsibilities

  • As a Compliance Specialist , you’ll partner with leadership to ensure regulatory excellence, supporting audits, investigations, and policy development while helping uphold compliance across our organization.
  • Remote : Open to remote applicants in the United States, except for the following states: Wyoming, Washington, North Dakota, California, New York, Illinois, and Ohio.
  • Key job responsibilities.
  • Partner with leaders and teams on regulatory compliance matters Support and manage Compliance Hotline activities Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve compliance issues Conduct compliance investigations, audits, and monitoring Assist with annual risk assessments and key risk areas Support follow-up on audit findings and corrective actions Research and interpret state and federal regulations Review and update policies and procedures Monitor compliance performance and track improvement plans Collaborate on privacy and HIPAA-related matters

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Three to five years of experience in healthcare compliance and/or auditing and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
