Department Details Summary To administer and document inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, oral, rectal, and topical medications under the supervision and guidelines of the Charge Nurse. Assist in providing for the residents' physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs under the supervision, guidance, and teaching of the Charge Nurse. Job Description Assist in providing for the residents' physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs under the supervision, guidance, and teaching of the Charge Nurse. Qualifications The Trained Medication Aide must be registered with the Minnesota Department of Health as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Must have successfully completed the 48 hour approved Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or ability to become certified within six months of hire date.
